Hashed Browns
Ingredients
- 5 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 pounds boiling potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch dice
- 2 medium yellow onions, chopped
- 2 teaspoons coarse Celtic sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat.
- Add potatoes, onions, salt and pepper and cook for 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally, until the potatoes are browned and the onion is caramelized.
- Take off the heat and season with salt and pepper if needed.
- Serve immediately.
